American Pie – Las Vegas

This is a project I completed in 2008 with my good friend and long time collaborator, Mike Darren and his company Mammoth. It’s a great show piece I’m very proud of it. It’s very hard to show anyone unless they are there. The attraction is a barrel vault canopy, 90 ft (27 m) high at the peak and four blocks, or approximately 1,500 ft (460 m), in length. We were able to cover several decades of American history with multi-layered imagery following Don McLean’s classic song. Here are some photos above of the production and the end result still playing nightly, 4 years later, to packed crowds.

Pace Opens new office

After much sweat and long hours, Pace has opened its new larger facility one floor down from the previous suites. It boasts a brand new larger Color Correction and finishing suite and a conference room and kitchen, along with 3 dedicated edit bays and a new temperature controlled machine room and long term data storage service. Midnight Oil Creative – Dark Knight Rises

Working closely again with Peter Green, Heath directed a new case study for Midnight Oil Creative for the Dark Knight Returns. Shooting in multiple formats at their studio and guerilla style at theatres, Pace created a unique spot in the vein of the iconic Batman films.

Pace provided the total post solution for 20th Century Fox’s sequel. Director Alex Zamm was able to make a bigger movie than budgeted with the help of VFX from Chuck Norris and a streamlined editing to conform process.

John Fogerty Documentary

Here are some shots from the unreleased John Fogerty documentary. Heath traveled to London with Mammoth, to interview and go on the road with John and his band. He then spent many days with John and his family traveling back to his first home and some wonderful afternoons with this legend in his current home in Los Angeles.
